Due to the pandemic, we have modified our processes to keep our community and volunteers safe. Our food bank remains open, and functions as a "drive-thru". Anyone looking to receive food, will drive up to the doors and pop open their trunk. One of our volunteers will then load a box of food in your trunk for you.
Please note: Our free store (i.e. clothing, small misc. household items) is NOT open during this time. As a result, we are not accepting any more donations for our free store.
Providing food, clothing & small household items
Our Master's Pantry has been serving the York Region community for over 20 years by providing families with the food, clothing & small miscellaneous items that they may need for the month. Many people who come to the Master’s Pantry, come on the recommendation of a York Region government agency.
How does it work?
We regularly host 2 separate pantries per month in order to meet each family's need once per month. Upon your first visit, please bring a copy of your ID, proof of your income, and proof of rent. Just show up and we will register you upon arrival.
We serve them a breakfast, provide them with their food to take home and allow them to peruse our free store which contains donated clothing and small household items.
Please note: Our breakfast and free store (i.e. clothing, small misc. household items) is NOT open for the duration of the pandemic.
