A support group for those who are grieving
Helping Others through their Pain and grief Experiences
H.O.P.E. is a weekly seminar and support group that is about helping other through their pain and grief experiences. It's a warm, caring environment led by people who understand what you are going through. You'll receive help and insight into the grieving process and there will be a time for discussion. The goal of this group is to give you hope, an expectation of good that is yet to be.
This is a FREE program and it is open to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one through death.
We encourage you to bring a friend or family member, at least for the first week, who can play a supportive role as you learn to open up about your pain and grief experience.

The first week is about giving you the tools to help you reconstruct your life and take you through the four tasks of grieving.
This week will be about discussing the common elements of healthy mourning and how to respond to the physical symptoms of grief.
Grief can be thought of as a journey. This week will be about the phases of grief you can expect to go through.
Depression, anger, and guilt can be paralyzing emotions as you go through grief. Even so, this week will explore what you can do to overcome these emotions in healthy ways.
This week, we will have a guest speaker who will come and share his own grief experience when he lost his son in a plane crash. He will be exploring the spiritual dimension of grief.
The final week of the program will review everything that has been discussed in the last 5 weeks, and help you set your pace to move forward as you ask, "Now what?".
