Key Info

Bring Your Own Skates

Please note that there will be no skate rentals available at the arena, so make sure to bring your own skates. We encourage everyone to plan ahead to ensure they can participate in this exciting event.

Capacity Limits

The Crosby Memorial Community Centre ice rink has a maximum capacity of 175 people. For the safety and enjoyment of everyone attending, we highly recommend that you reserve your spot early to avoid disappointment. Spectators are welcome and do not count toward the capacity limit on the ice, but if you're planning to skate, don't wait too long!

Tips for a successful skating experience

Dress Warm

While the arena is covered, the ice rink can still be chilly. Dress in layers and don't forget your gloves and hat to stay warm while you skate.

Bring a Helmet

For younger skaters or beginners, we recommend wearing helmets for added safety. If you have them at home, bring them along! Remember that skates and other related equipment will not be available for rental.

Sharpen Your Skates in Advance

If it's been a while, you may want to make sure your skates are sharp a couple days in advance. It can be risky to skate with dull blades, and we want you to be a safe as possible.
