"The Wonder" by John Cook

John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

1.     Word – Who is He?

John 1:1-2 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.”

2.     Became flesh – What does that mean?

John 1:3 “All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

Hebrews 1:2 “but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.”

Colossians 1:16-17 “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”

3.     Dwelt among us – Why would He want to do that?

.

With this one verse, may we marvel and worship and give thanks.
