"The One Solution To Our Current Epidemic" // Pastor Daniel Mills
In a world full of billions of people, multiple social media apps, hundreds of online “friends” and a global village of commerce and interaction, we are lonelier than ever before. Loneliness takes a toll on our emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. But we were never meant to journey through life alone. From the dawn of creation, God desired to dwell with us, but sin separated us from Him. In due time, Jesus came as Emmanuel, to restore us into a deep, intimate, and meaningful relationship with Him. His resurrection to life speaks powerfully of the life he desires us to have today, every day, and throughout eternity. He came to give us abundant life by cleansing us from sin, liberating us from addictions, and filling us with unconditional love. Are you ready to experience Jesus today?
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 – Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
- Among youth aged 15 to 24 years, nearly 1 in 4 (23%) said they always or often felt lonely.
- Canadians between 18 and 39 years old reported the highest levels of moderate to severe anxiety, loneliness and feelings of depression of any age group (33.5 per cent for anxiety, 29.1 per cent for loneliness and 27.7 per cent for feelings of depression).
- Before 1800, the word loneliness was not in regular use in the English language
- In 2018, England appointed a Minister of Loneliness. Japan appointed one in 2021.
- Australia & New Zealand have national loneliness reduction strategies
- Researchers have found that the more time you spend on Facebook, the lonelier you feel
Jesus walked a lonely path so that we don’t have to be lonely.

Jesus’ resurrection brings us life

Luke 4:18-19 – The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.
Freedom for a man with demons
Luke 8:39 – “No, go back to your family, and tell them everything God has done for you.” So he went all through the town proclaiming the great things Jesus had done for him.

Healing for a man with leprosy
