"A Jesus Vision" by Daniel Mills

Unionville Alliance Church exists to lead people to know Jesus Christ and to follow Him passionately.

Touching our world through Jesus Christ, one life at a time.

Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)

A Jesus Vision is a community of disciple making disciples.

Who is your one?

Jesus started with twelve. One of them was Peter.

Jesus wants to use what you have.

He noticed two empty boats at the water’s edge, for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets. Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon, its owner, to push it out into the water. So he sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there. (Luke 5:2-3)

Be obedient to the voice of God regardless of how crazy it sounds.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish.” “Master,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again.”  (Luke 5:4-5)

Jesus can use you!

When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me—I’m such a sinful man.” …Jesus replied to Simon, “Don’t be afraid! From now on you’ll be fishing for people!” (Luke 5:8, 10)
