How do we live faithfully and courageously when everything around us challenges our beliefs? Daniel and his friends faced this exact question as exiles in Babylon, navigating a culture radically opposed to their faith. Yet their lives offer us a roadmap for thriving in the midst of opposition, showing how faithfulness to God transforms every circumstance. The book of Daniel is divided into two sections: chapters 1–6 recount inspiring narratives of unwavering devotion amidst trials, while chapters 7–12 unveil prophetic visions of God’s ultimate plan for history. Together, these sections emphasize God’s sovereignty, the call to live counter-culturally, and the hope of His eternal kingdom.
This opening message will introduce the larger themes of the series, including how small acts of faithfulness prepare us for greater challenges and how trust in God’s purposes sustains us through the trials of life. From fiery furnaces to apocalyptic visions, Daniel reveals the power of steadfast faith in a world that opposes God. How do we, like Daniel, stand firm in our convictions while pointing others to God’s glory? What does it mean to thrive spiritually in a culture that tempts us to compromise? This message will inspire you to live with courage and conviction, trusting in the God who reigns over all kingdoms and holds the future in His hands. Let's engage culture, reshape it, and impact the world around us!

CHILDREN'S DISCIPLESHIPSHIP PROGRAM
We are committed to equipping families with lessons and tools to help children look to God for answers. Here’s how we engage your children during the service:
Service Schedule: Please check in your child at the desk upstairs before the service. Children stay with their families for the first 15 minutes of the service and are then dismissed to their classes.
Power Up! (Birth - Grade 5):
- Pre-School Program (18 months - 3 years): Room 3 is now open for toddlers, led by Ms. Verna and other leaders. During the “What’s Happening in Power Up!?” moment, please accompany your toddler to the front of the sanctuary, and then to Room 3 for their class. Parents will wait outside while children enter the classroom.
- School Aged Program (Kindergarten - Grade 5): This program remains the same for kindergarten to grade 5. Children will be dismissed ~15 minutes after the service starts, following the “What’s Happening in Power Up!?” moment. Learn more >>
- Nursery & Parent Supervision (Under 18 months and others who need it): Room 4 and the lobby are open for parents who wish to stay with their younger children or those who need extra supervision, with livestream of the service.
Extension (Gr. 6 - 8):
- Youth typically head downstairs to Room 10 after dismissal (~15 minutes into the service). However, on the first Sunday of each month (Communion Sunday), Youth will remain in the service. Learn more >>
Grades 9 and above stay in the service every Sunday.
