E-BULLETIN

Sunday, October 27, 2024

Imagine a choir where each voice sings alone—disjointed, incomplete, lacking harmony. But when those voices unite, they create a beautiful chorus that stirs the soul. As we listen to a beautiful choir, we’ll dive into the powerful truth that God never intended for us to live this life alone. From the beginning, He designed us to thrive in community, where we support, sharpen, and spur one another on toward spiritual growth. Just as Jesus lived in community, journeying with His disciples, we too are called to walk alongside others in our pursuit of the way of Jesus. We’ll explore how every spiritual discipline has a communal aspect, and how experiencing Jesus’ life and teachings becomes richer and more profound when done together. The Toronto Mass Choir in our service is a living illustration of this truth: when we, the body of Christ, operate in unity, we create something beautiful, rich, and harmonous reflecting the deep love of Jesus. Are you ready to join the chorus and find your place in the community of faith? Come and discover how life is meant to be lived together.

"The Chorus of Community" - Toronto Mass Choir & Pastor Daniel Mills

WELCOME!

Whether you are here for the first time or the fourth time, we'd love to connect with you and help you get oriented and find your place within our church. As a bonus, we will donate $5 for every new connection we receive to a charity that we are passionate about supporting. Currently, we are supporting Flow Without Bounds Ministries, a local outreach serving the Kin Village and Trinity Square neighborhoods. Your participation helps support their mission to transform lives through practical care, mentorship, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

CHILDREN'S DISCIPLESHIPSHIP PROGRAM

We are committed to equipping families with lessons and tools to help children look to God for answers. Here’s how we engage your children during the service:

Service Schedule: Please check in your child at the desk upstairs before the service. Children stay with their families for the first 15 minutes of the service and are then dismissed to their classes.

Power Up! (Birth - Grade 5):

  • Pre-School Program (18 months - 3 years): Room 3 is now open for toddlers, led by Ms. Verna and other leaders. During the “What’s Happening in Power Up!?” moment, please accompany your toddler to the front of the sanctuary, and then to Room 3 for their class. Parents will wait outside while children enter the classroom.
  • School Aged Program (Kindergarten - Grade 5): This program remains the same for kindergarten to grade 5. Children will be dismissed ~15 minutes after the service starts, following the “What’s Happening in Power Up!?” moment. Learn more >>
  • Nursery & Parent Supervision (Under 18 months and others who need it): Room 4 and the lobby are open for parents who wish to stay with their younger children or those who need extra supervision, with livestream of the service.

Extension (Gr. 6 - 8):

  • Youth typically head downstairs to Room 10 after dismissal (~15 minutes into the service). However, on the first Sunday of each month (Communion Sunday), Youth will remain in the service. Learn more >>

Grades 9 and above stay in the service every Sunday.

PRAYER

Our Prayer Team is available to pray with you or for you. They will be at the front, back and around the auditorium after the service for those who are attending in-person. As for those who are attending online, fill out our prayer request form and we will be sure to pray for you.
