E-BULLETIN

Sunday, June 30, 2024

When we experience Jesus for the first time, it is radical, overwhelming, and pure love. The direction of our life changes, but it doesn’t mean that all our habits and practices totally change. Some actions and attitudes change right away, but our character being transformed into the image and likeness of Christ takes years and even decades of formation. This can be a discouraging and daunting task, but it can also be a lifestyle that brings joy, peace, and love in its fullness as we yield to the transforming work of the Spirit through the lifestyle of Jesus. Whether we’ve been walking with Jesus for one month, one year, or one decade, spiritual formation is a long road that requires discipline, perseverance, and humility. We are all being formed by the stories we are taught, the relationships we have, the habits we build, and the culture around us. Are you willing and ready to be formed by Jesus?

"The Long Road of Spiritual Formation" - Romans 12:9-21

WELCOME!

Whether you are here for the first time or the fourth time, we'd love to connect with you and help you get oriented and find your place within our church. As a bonus, we will donate $5 for every new connection we receive to a charity that we are passionate about supporting. Currently, we are supporting Toronto Alliance's Outreach, bringing restoration for people experiencing homelessness and poverty in the downtown core.

PRAYER

As we come to the end of our fiscal year this Sunday, we are thankful for the generous giving of our church family to support the ministries of Unionville Alliance Church. We can’t do what we do without you! This Sunday is the last Sunday to give for this fiscal year and help us finish the year well and in good financial footing for our next fiscal year. Thank you to everyone who has given and donated so that we can touch our world through Jesus one life at a time. Note that the numbers above are reflective of 11 months of our fiscal year. Your faithful giving not only helps us meet our expenses, but it also helps us plan new initiatives for the future as we seek to fulfill the mission and vision that the Lord has given us.
